We brought our 1.5 year old golden retriever to Jitana in the hopes of getting her off leash and to improve day to day manners. We had a great experience with Jitana, she is extremely responsive and really dedicates her time to you and your pup. She is extremely passionate about her practice and it shows her day to day work. We had incredible success with her training methodologies and would highly suggest her to anyone looking to give their dog some more freedom while improving your day to day with your pup as well.

My personal situation I had an older dog that I thought was just high energy and a younger puppy 6 months old that was picking up bad habits. Jitana was fabulous day 1! Jitana noticed that my old dog wasn’t high energy, she was suffering from anxiety and that translated to her energy level, and we discussed a specific plan for her. Jitana will give you all the tools you need to help you and your dogs have great relaxing experiences. Jitana would work with us during the onsite visit and give us homework and practices to perform before our next session. At the beginning of each session, Jitana would ask if we had any issues or anything new to report. Then we would work on any issues we may have had and the next set of lessons. Jitana is extremely knowledgeable about training and can tailor to specific needs of the dog. Jitana was also very patient and attentive to the dogs’ needs and took the time to explain everything to us. Yes, my dogs love her. We had an offsite meet and I got there ahead of her and the minute my puppy saw her he immediately went to her. I plan on doing off-leash training with Jitana next year.

We couldn’t have asked for a better trainer! Siren really struggled with her leash skills and we couldn’t even leave the house without issues. Then we started training, now, we can sit outside a dog park and just hang out, we can go on hour long walks and hikes without having to worry. She can also hang out next to our cat without chasing after her! I’m beyond amazed at all of the progress we’ve made.

Jitana was incredible with our one-year old Scottie Terrier, Arley and had a very solid understanding of terrier tendencies and often stubborn-will. She was undeniably patient, graceful, and knowledgeable with each session and in making sure that our areas of concern were addressed timely and with the right resources. Arley is a much more confident, calm, and playful pup thanks to Jitana’s training and love for him. We’re grateful for her time spent with us and would recommend her, especially for first-time puppy parents.

My husband and I can not say enough good things about Jitana. Lets start with her knowledge base, WOW! She had multiple answers to every question we had. Any behavior that needed correction, including the ones we were doing, were pointed out and tools were provided to help us. Jitana is so kind and warm. Our dog Maui was always happy to see her even though she knew she was going to work hard. Jitana gives personalized attention to you and your dogs needs. I stopped taking my dog for walks because she pulled me down several times. Now she is walking next to me and listening to me. I can’t overstate how positive of a training experience we had with Jitana. She's like Denver's dog whisperer. This is not your typical cookie cutter training, she truly understands dog psychology and explains it at a deeper level then you’ll find anywhere else. Realistically, it was about 10% training my dog and 90% training me to understand my dog and his needs. My relationship with my dog has improved 10x, I can take him more places with me now, and- most importantly- he can calm himself down in exciting or overwhelming situations. EVERYBODY comments about how much better behaved he is. Training with Jitana was the pinnacle of his week every week and we both learned a ton.

Jitana is amazing, and we would highly recommend her to anyone with a pup or dog who needs to learn some manners! She got right to work with our 4 month old pup as soon as she walked through our front door for our first session, and she has consistently helped us overcome new challenges that come with puppy parenthood. We are able to take our puppy to breweries, crowded hiking trails, and parks with confidence because Jitana taught us and her all the skills we need in order to have successful outings (plus successful relaxing nights at home, which is a major plus with an energetic puppy!). We are so grateful to Jitana, and Cola is going to miss her weekly visits from the “treat lady.”

Jitana is great with our puppy. We started training at a 8 weeks old and kept going until he was 6 months old. We have a well behaved dog that listens and is off leash! Jitana was responsive and there when behaviors started to show up.

Absolutely amazing! I had a Pitbull/Boxer who was only about 6 months old and she was INSANE! I honestly had no idea what to do with her. I looked up a bunch of trainers and didn’t find any that I really liked or trusted. Then Denver Dog Academy messaged me and just after a few minutes, I felt really confident about choosing them. Jitana showed up the first day and was AMAZING with my dog. She calmly started talking to me about the process and the program and made me feel confident in learning.
